My twins

Postby Latimer » Sun Aug 19, 2007 2:15 pm

I would like to share my new show. It was created on my twins`18th birthday and played during the party on big screen. The introduction, the captions and the ending wishes are in Polish, but I think you understand why I made it. The last song is sung by my son,Lukas.

I liked it !! (although as you say, I could not read it -- even tried looking
at the text in a mirror -- didn't help :D ). Couple of things I noticed:

1) several of the sequences of slide motion, there was a jump just before
the slide went off the right side of the screen. This may be your problem or
it may be Presenter (I just installed the latest version (1974) and it did a
couple of strange things including crashing at the end when I switched
back from full screen to normal. Sigh.)

2) quite a number of the pictures I think would look significantly better if
you bumped the contrast/saturation up on them a bit - they tended to be
somewhat "flat".

3) I liked the way it was put together, but there may be a couple where
the pictures are small enough that you find on a typical low resolution
TV, they just don't show the way you would like (I have been bitten on
that one before myself).

All in all, though I really liked the show, liked the music and thought you did
a great job of putting it together (even if I didn't have a clue what they
were saying :D ).

Thank you for your comments. I agree with you. The pictures in the first part of the show were scanned a couple of years ago and this can be the reason that they seem to be flat. The jumps are my problem indeed because I saw them but I was not able to correct them due to lack of time before the celebration. Thank you very much for your advice.
