Just for Fun ...

Postby gpsmikey » Sat Jul 07, 2007 5:04 pm

Here is a quick (30 seconds) clip that I got to playing with
as an ending for some stuff I was working on. Go ahead,
watch it and try not to laugh :D

[edit] created newer version that is about 10 seconds longer to keep my wife
happy. It flows a bit better ...

Thanks for the comments - actually, I had not been in the wine,
but I think the squirrels had - they start flipping around out
in the yard and going nuts (those were shot from about 30 feet).
When I found the "chipmunk laugh track" I just knew I had to
use it

I had trimmed the laugh and applause to make it shorter, but
my wife says I should have made it a bit longer than I did
(usually she says to make it shorter). The background music
that fit was from Digital Juice Volume20 "Positive Aspirations"
called "FreeFall". I have taken a liking to the DJ stuff recently -
just wish that Photodex would implement alpha channel in Producer
to help make it the "Professional" product they charged us for

I just watched this at 6 a.m. and I laughed out loud with the squirrel giggling and woke up my husband!!! I had to explain what all the fuss was about.

I have peanuts I put out for the birds and squirrels and my neighbour on the left just came over the other day and told me the neighbour on the right (80 year old lady) is trapping the squirrels and drowning them in the river. So I guess I better stop with the peanuts as I'm just luring them to their death!

sheesh.

Fun show mikey ...I can see the squirrels are better appreciated where you live.

I found the giggles and crowd cheering on the net, but the tune was taken
from DJ StackTrax vol 20 "Postitive Aspirations" (FreeFall). The pictures
were taken in our front yard - and they really are that goofy !!

Hi Mikey,
If you have a chance to stop by this weekend bring along one of your friends. If they don't have a racial hangup, I have a few brown squirrels in my yard looking for a hot date.. Nice show, great photos and I loved the sounds.

Best regards,
Douglas

Mikey,

Great Opener!
Great Music!
Great Sound Tracks!
Great Storyline!
Fonts easy to read!

HOWEVER...

Don't be alarmed, angry, or otherwise amiable but...

I liked Version II better!

Glad people liked it -- one of those things that I was working on
one thing and it evolved into that and the more I puttered with it
the funnier it got (I'm still not sure if those are squirrel snorts or
squirrel farts that they all seem to think is so funny :D )
