The ghosts of Hell

Postby thoutmosis » Tue Feb 21, 2017 1:17 am

Hello
You should always choose your readings before falling asleep.

For the brain is still active, and stalls during the night, all that was felt during awakening!

But sometimes, there are failures! This is called a ... nightmare.

Well, it's a little delirium, as I like to do from time to time!

Do not hesitate to tell me what you think.

That was an interesting show to watch. I liked all the different kinds of effects you included. Everything from soup to nuts. (Or whatever the French equivalent for that expression is) :)

I was especially intrigued by the animated gif of the skull at :05 to :10 and again at 2:43 to 2:47. Some day I'd like to learn how those are made.

Nice choice of music too.

hello,

So read comics, in the evening, it will not happen to you!

* In technique
- the masks are cut out and come from the Museum of Primitive Arts in Paris, where I went 2 years ago.
- the caves are taken in Dordogne (France).
- for the forest, in intro, I try to find reality with still pictures, but it can improve.
- the animation of the eyes, it is easily found.
- for the cranes, on the internet, I give you a link https://www.google.fr/search?q=gif+anim ... 4i4PtOORmM:

- on the other hand the great novelty for me (now that I understood) is the use of what are called "modifiers" which are algorithm calculations to give an image this effect of trembling.

As for the story, I will change reading!

The innovative special effects and the most complimentary music kept me glued to the screen till the end.
The forest effect is intriguing.
It must have been quite time consuming to get everything so well timed.
Well done.

Nice work! Enjoyed it - especially your clever use of multiple layers and modifiers?

I've not made a show in ages - indeed I have forgotten most of the stuff I ever learned.

Thanks for the inspiration
