Winston-Salem Light Project

Postby Magmatic » Thu Apr 21, 2016 2:54 am

Each year, the lighting students at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts creatively illuminate some site in downtown Winston-Salem. In 2016, they chose a tunnel and sunken walkway. But that was not the only light show going on at the time.

3:22.

Some techniques used in this:
- a super-wide angle lens
- tripod and remote to keep the camera from moving from shot to shot
- time exposures
- keyframe change hue of caption
- keyframe change hue of layer
- slide sound
- created transition
- absolutely no slide styles
- the colors showed up better when I adjusted the brightness up, Auto, I think
- and a lot of waiting around

I'm sorry everybody. I left out the link.

It's just as well, though. I've revised the music and added some zooming effects to try to liven it up some.

Got your curiosity up now?

And lopped off a whole second. It's now 3:21.

Your missing link added to the suspense. It was worth the effort to check in regularly for the missing url.
I loved the show. The long ghostly exposures were very effective and colourful and the music complimented the show very well.
A simple, yet, great show
regards.
