A Taste of Porto

Postby Aida » Tue Mar 08, 2016 4:56 pm

... that's the city, not the wine

A year ago, I spent some time in Porto, Portugal's second largest city in the northern part of the
country. Porto is a most wonderful city to explore on foot -- which I did, taking pictures of what
attracted my attention. The historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And yes, during my
walks I did have countless opportunities to sample the wonderful Port Wine [vinho do Porto
in Portuguese
] -
- which I did! 8)

9 minutes
- nothing that might be considered objectionable.

Enjoyed your show - brought back happy memories of a few days we had there last year. Some interesting effects.

A vibrant, busy and pleasant show. Good selection of music.
I liked the black and white photos and would have left them as such.
What I suggest is that you correct for converging verticals. Ideally you should not crop so much at the shooting stage so that this can be done easily is PS.
Well done.
regards.

Thanks, PD, for taking the time to watch my slideshow & for your comments. I apologize for
my delay in acknowledging you post - haven't been around lately. And thanks, as well, for
the reminder re "not cropping so much at the shooting stage." Yes, that's something I have
to keep in mind when I'm taking photos I intend to use in my ProShow slideshows.
