Blood Moon Rising

Postby hardsoftware » Tue Sep 29, 2015 8:45 am

Ok so this is my first show, if you want to call it that, in a while. It is also the first time I've pointed to a u tube channel which I've had for years but have never used. What follows is a poor mans version time lapse of the Blood Moon/eclipse 09/27/2015, about 223 photos. I am obviously no expert. I really didn't know what the hell I was doing. This was done on the spur of the moment using my old D40 Nikon with the little stock lens that the camera comes with. Wish I would have had a longer lens for zooming in. The moon will appear small in the center as the stock lens does not zoom in close at all. The slide show runs relatively fast, then a little faster, and then the last minute of the show I zoomed in via the software for a somewhat closer look of the eclipse. It was uploaded at 720p so watching full screen will probably not be any better than watching in the standard sized utube viewer. Remember, these are not ideal photos so don't expect crystal clear moon shots except for the last two. I was lucky it even worked at all. I used one of Kevin MacLeod pieces for music. Show is 2:59 in length and uploaded at 720p so it should allow you to set the resolution at 750p max, however with only a small portion of the video screen being used I am not sure it it will make any difference

P.S. Do not blame me if any of you werewolves out there turn while watching this....
