New York Part 2 - The Brooklyn Bridge

Postby trailertrash » Mon Dec 22, 2014 3:03 am

For a long time I've had this hankering to walk the Brooklyn Bridge. During our trip to New York I was able to do so, aided by those with me. Underfoot conditions on the boardwalk were really bad but I made it to the Brooklyn side and back. I tried to find out why the flags were at half staff [most of them anyway ] but no-one seemed to know. I asked a policeman at Wall St and those on the bridge, but no solution. I tried a pretzel from one of the bridge vendors and have to say they're tasteless!!

Next stop was the courthouse at Centre St where the Law and Order Series was filmed. We're devotees of those shows, so to be able to walk ' In the Footsteps of Jack McCoy ' was an ambition realised.

Hope you see something you like. Next part is WTC.

Nice job! There are some great pictures and the show flows smoothly.
I never heard the song before, but you couldn't have used anything more appropriate.
My only complaint is your criticism of the pretzels!
