Mission Accomplished
In June of this year 4 old comrades were discussing how nice it would be to be on parade at the Menin Gate on the 1th of November 2014. Given that we're [ most of us ] in our 70's now, we wondered if we could actually pull it off. So we set about planning the trip. One of our number wanted to find a long lost relative who died in Flanders in 1916, so we had our mission and target.
Our planning culminated in us leaving home on the 8th of November, ' In Search of James '.
This show is a small part of the adventure we had. Perhaps you'd like to come along with us. Just click the link.

Re: Mission Accomplished
Andrew,
That was beautiful. Thank you for taking us along your journey. But more importantly, thank you and your fellow comrades for your service. I still get teary-eyed when looking upon rows and rows of memorials.
Hugs, Stephanie

Nicely done story Andrew! I liked the use of the book and page flips. That must have been a very emotional trip. Thank you and your comrades for your service!
