Fear of flying and modifiers

Postby BarbaraC » Thu Aug 05, 2010 9:00 am

Modifiers are a godsend, but they sure do look evil at first. Here's a beginner's article to get you up and flapping: The 'Sine' Bird.

Thanks Barbara. I'm out of town and away from my computer that has ProShow installed, but this looks like a great little introduction to modifiers. I'll be sure to try it when I get back.

Thanks again!

All the basic moves are really simple, but you sure wouldn't know it by reading about modifiers in the manual. The instructions for stuff I already know how to do got me all flubberdegibbetted, so I thought, "Oh come on, Photodex. This is NOT rocket science." :D

Barbara, I always put the modifiers aside - something I'd learn when I had a lot of time. Thanks for your tutorial, it was very easy to follow and opened my eyes to many possible uses.

I did exactly the same thing until I was one day using heavy-duty music software that employs the exact same waveforms. It popped into my head that waveforms were a kind of path, and when this analogy smacked me in the middle of the forehead, it seeped right over into Producer. Ta-dah! I played madly enough with modifiers to crash Producer, and I'm here to recommend that everyone endeavor to give Producer nervous breakdowns. Fear not. It can always be revived. :D
