Sept/Oct. Challenge - How To Install A Spa

Postby HunnyB » Mon Sep 08, 2008 4:40 pm

We just installed a spa. Here is a short show I put together today. Nothing fancy.
16 MB
4 minutes long.
Let me know what you think. :D

Hunny,

Love the colorful vibrant stained-glass looking elements in the show and how you incorporated them. What a shame the tree had to be cut down. But no matter, less leaves to rake!

The most important and fun part was the last part - how to enjoy your spa...don't you think? LOL :D

Hubby would love to have one too.

That was awesome and I loved the way you put it together.....was that lil cutie calling you "Grammy"? We got your nickname now.....I just sold my tub to my nephew, no one to play with and it needed to be put to more use. We didn't have in the best of places, it was too far out of the way from our common hanging area. My next one is going to be right outside my bedroom door of the new house I will design when I win the million dollar lottery.... Way to go sis!! Hugs Jan

Thanks Deb and Jan. Glad you enjoyed the show.
Jan, they call me Hunny ---- I will have to listen closely and see what she was saying. :D
My sister never used her hot tub either. I really think location is VERY important.
Ours is in the perfect (close) place.

Hunny, your use of graphics is always excellent, and this was no exception. I was a tad surprised to see only one shot of you in the tub. I was so sure you'd be dominating the pictures. If it was my tub, I'd dominate the whole darned thing. MY tub! :D

Thanks for watching Barbara. You are too funny. Believe me, it is MY tub, and I am ALWAYS in it.
But one picture of me is enough!!! Glad you liked the graphics.

Just loved the show. Shame you had to cut the tree down. But it had to be done. You make me think a lot more about investing in one of those for us. We were talking about it the other day and watching you show is making it mighty tempting.

Great show Hunny. Loved the stained glass frame.. . . . great idea. One of my sons has a tub and whenever we can, we sure take advantage of a soak. He has his right outside a window and has mounted a tv behind the window and we watch hockey games, and drink wine. . . .. tons of fun.

Thanks Linda for watching. I don't have a tv in mine, but it is
in a great location. I can see it from my back picture window in my den.
It is on it's own deck, off the main deck. Love it.

As always, I enjoyed your show very much. Where do you find, OR how do you make, music like that - it always fitted to so perfectly? I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time trying to find good music. Also, enjoyed your titles. Very cute show. Thank you.

Marilyn, thank your for the kind words of encouragement.
As far as the music goes, I collect from a variety of sources.
When Barbara's forum book is up and running, there will be great links for music sites.
I think picking the perfect song, and have your show timed to the music is a must for good shows.
IMHO. :D
