June 08 Contest - Peggy
Here's my try at the contest. This was a lot of fun! It's about 2 and a half minutes. Hopefully I didn't take too many liberties with the rules.

Nice job with this ........ I really liked making a mask of the hole in the guitar to view another image of it...... great work.

Peggy, that guitar is an effect all by itself. Very nice work. I noticed in particular how well you synchronized motion to music. I mean, you were right on the money.

Thanks to Stephanie, Bob, Linda and Jan for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it - and the guitar. It's definitely a unique instrument. I haven't heard her play it yet; maybe her creativity is in the painting rather than playing.
HunnyB: Thanks for coming up with this challenge. It always helps to have a little outside motivation and I learned some new techniques along the way both doing the show and looking at everyone else's.
Jan: About timing with the music...I DID work on it but that music pretty much called for a lot of timing with the slides. Pulsing would've been good too but I'm still not there yet with keyframes.
Thanks, everyone, for your comments and taking the time to watch the show.

Peggy,
Excellent use of layers and transitions. And that guitar. WOW ! That is a work of art itself. It would make a fantastic travelling subject like the gnome in the movie "Amelie"

Peggy,
I enjoyed your entry as well. Using the circle as a mask made it interesting. Enjoyed very much! Even if she doesn't play it, she has a conversation starter. Sometimes that's all that's needed.

Jim & Theresa:
Glad you enjoyed the show. These challenges are sure fun - both to watch and see what amazing things other people are coming up with and to create. I'm learning a lot both ways.
Thank you for watching and for your comments. Hmmm, Jim, a traveling guitar...lots of interesting potential in that idea.
