'Over the Top' by Stu

Postby Stumpy » Mon Mar 10, 2008 2:03 pm

I saw this months challenge and thought...'what the heck am i going to do with this one' :?
Then i saw the first entries and i nearly ran for the hills

But a bit of patience i've finally done it. It's only a short attempt which runs for just over 2 minutes as i didn't want it going 'over the top'

Hope you enjoy and a big thanks to Iris for posting her short show on creating a collage.... :)

Stu - well done, congratulations! I liked that a lot and no need to run for the hills, you did an excellent job. As evidenced by the lack of participants in this challenge, I'd say a lot of us are in the hillls by now!

Some beautiful transformations!

Hi Stuart

I'm still smiling as I write this :D

Loved it... well done! Looks like you had fun? Hope your layers palette was not as busy (or confusing) as my first attempts

Great choice of music too 8)

Still smiling... Iris :D

WOW, WOW, WOW. Loved it. In fact I watched it 2 times!!!
My desktop has been at the doctors and I don't like doing shows on the laptop.
Or I would have tried something. But I am the one who would be running for the hills.
Everyone is soooo talented.
Thanks for posting.

Hi Tina

Thanks for starting us off with this months challenge! I saw your show and it spurred me on. Dont know which program I love most (Photoshop or Producer) but I cant imagine sharing either with my husband. He would drive me absolutely bonkers... bad enough having to let him loose with the camera now and again.

Stu - just watched your show again... you used a combination of blending modes and filters at different stages, I think? Whatever you did, you did it very well.

Wow! Run for the hills? What for? You did a wonderful job using that collage technique.

My favorite images in the show are the beach scene with the bucket and the bluish/purple daisy against the rainbow colored background.

I also agree with Iris on the choice of music too.

It's more fun watching stuff posted here than on the crummy TV any day.

Thanks for sharing that Stuart.
