March 08 Challenge ~ Over The Top

Postby 57Corvette » Thu Mar 06, 2008 2:19 pm

Here is my entry for the March challenge..... Over The Top. All photos have been manipulated in some way. Some might be minor changes, but most are radical ..... especially the Christmas House. Most photos are mine, some are not. There are some photos that have been posted in previous shows as well as some new ones. The show runs about 6 1/2 minuets and is around 46 MB in size. Here is the link ..........

OH MY GOODNESS!!! That was magnificant Bob. I need to download this to watch it again and really take it all in.

You should have a Gallery, I'm not kidding. This is, I think some of the finest photo manipulation I have ever seen.

I especially liked the way you kept popping up with all the babes! Now that is some manipulation

I loved it from beginning to end!

HunnyB,

Always appreciate you watch my shows and taking the time to comment ...... thanks again.

Mary,

Did you think I added those bikini girls with me??? That's just the story I told my wife....... seriously, thanks for your kind words .... much appreciated.

Jan,

What is going on my Canadian Songbird?? The lions were cool .... couldn't make up my mind which background to use, so I used them both. Looking forward to your next show ......

Thanks again to all ........

Bob -

You always put together an incredible montage!

It is always fun to see some of the icons of Venice Beach in a show and know that you just saw them last weekend.

Love your shows and look forward to the next one.

Cheers!

We skipped the light fandango, turned cartwheels 'cross the floor.
I was feeling kinda seasick, but the crowd called out for more...........

Linda, Brenda, Don, Cary, Iris, Colleen,

Thank you to all ....... I really enjoy changing photos into something different. I know it's not for everyone ..... but it does allow me to have some artistic abilities ..... something I probably couldn't do with a paint brush......... appreciate you all taking the time to watch and write me.

Definitely Over the Top

Postby SandyB » Fri Mar 07, 2008 10:13 am

Bob,

Spectacular images - really liked the Christmas house, the cat, the church with the cross, the cars and the train for starters.
I can see that you do a lot of dreaming in California!

Cheers,
Sandy

PS - The outline on the slides - a thin vignette?

Sandy

Thank you for watching and your kind words .....yeah, with women like the ones in my photos ..... you know I'm only dreaming. Not sure what lines around the photos you're talking about .....but with some, I place a small border of color around the photo and then a larger border in black. If that's what you're talking about, I do that in Paint Shop Pro .... although it can also be done in Photo Shop.

Aha!

Postby SandyB » Fri Mar 07, 2008 3:01 pm

Bob,
I was thinking that the black border around the pictures was the slide background and the photos were zoomed smaller with an outline.
Knowing that both are borders done in Paint Shop Pro makes total sense. I think the thin vibrant color outlines really work.
Thanks much,
Sandy
