Feb 08 Challenge - dilyla

Postby dilyla » Sat Feb 09, 2008 11:56 pm

I tried for several days to get this show smaller, but couldn't do it. I debated whether to post after uploading because of the size (background video makes it total about 46Mb).

Don't ask where this came from... think the brain just tried to give a 'kick.' I've been buried deep in creating a massive database for a customer these last couple of weeks & just got the chance to come up for air. Nice to challenge the brain creatively rather than mathmatically! This was all done on one slide -- I just love piling on the layers & keyframes! :P

I'll be the first to admit this is a little wierd... but then again, I think techno music is a little wierd! And, since it was a February challenge, I thought it needed a 'love' theme. The two seem an odd mix & so is my show!

I called it "Love is Blind"

Hi Diana,
Cute show! Alot of work for one slide with multiple layers and key-framing. You did good combining techno with a "love" theme. :D

Cool show !! I'll take the woman on the left (not the pig) ... or were
those before and after the wedding pictures (ducks and runs for cover). :D
That was a lot of work - worked well with a tough piece !!

Mary, Stephanie, Penny - Thanks for watching & the kind comments. Having to use the techno music was a fun challenge! And, Mary -- cropping the guy's pic was an added bonus... I'm sure you felt my pain of having to look at him over & over & over & over again... :D

Mikey, Mikey, Mikey.... DUCK! At least you didn't say only HER before/after wedding pictures! Thanks for watching & glad you enjoyed it!

Beyond My Imagination

Postby SandyB » Mon Feb 18, 2008 4:57 am

Diana!
Great show! Sorry I missed it when it was first posted.
Amazing how much creativity and expertise can be packed into a few minutes.
You did this on one slide!!! Yikes! I wondered why my computer kept locking up.
I liked the music playing in advance with the black screen, the arrows, the white to red font and fly-out and the heart beating to the beat for starters.
My favorite was the frog with the big red lips. Guess it's a good thing that love is blind.
Thanks for sharing your imagination and the implementation!
Cheers,
Sandy

PS - I don't think that guy is an angel!

HunnyB - Thanks for watching & glad you enjoyed my "man angel" -- Had to put something in for us ladies!

Sandy - You don't think he's an angel as it "Doesn't look like one" or perhaps falls into the category of 'looks may be deceiving?" With those looks, I'd bet he has tendencies of the latter! :D
