Feb08 Challenge - rkligman
It's done! It took about 4-5 hours to do the first 7 seconds of the show and I was thinking, what did I do? Once I got past that though I couldn't stop and a few hours later its in the can. I'm very pleased with the result. I worked on several new techniques so I learned something too.
The theme of my show is The Ocean. It contains some video so it will take about a minute and a half to load for this minute and a half show. Make sure you play it Full Screen! They are high res pictures and look really great in their full glory.

PS. In case your wondering what the Feb08 Challenge is, it is described in this thread: http://www.proshowenthusiasts.com/viewtopic.php?t=6465

Well, I see I've got my work cut out! Cool show Rick! In addition to your stunning photos, I liked your intro technique with the moving color bars. One of my favorite ways masking. Hopefully I can start on mine next week.

Rick - You're INSANE! Great show. I liked it all, but to be honest, I sat a little closer to my monitor when you brought in the bikini clad girlz!!!

Thanks all. I had just been down to the tidepools a couple of weeks ealier and figured I had enough to put into this show. The water bubbles are actually a composite of two videos which I never tried before but worked out great. I finally found the perfect place for my Male Jumper. I have that printed as a 19" print because it's just this little guy jumping off a large cliff. When you see the picture at 19" tall, it's quite awesome. But to just look at it on the screen, it loses the overall sense. Since I was able to gradually show the whole length, it was perfect. And what can we say about the girls. Same shoot as the male. I was about to go home and this beatiful girl wanted to jump but just couldn't muster the courage. I shot, and waited, for about 20 minutes for her to jump. I almost lever a couple of times thinking she'd never go. Finally this other girl convinced her that they would jump together and hence the pictures. One of the best I've ever shot. In the end, it was way worth the wait. Thank goodness I had my premium glass with me that afternoon!
