Well, Mikey congratulations, you are a poet too. English is not my first language and longfellows is not in dictionary. Is it the same thing as long fellows? or is there another meaning?

It's a play on the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

in this case, referring to his feet as "long fellows". Definitely
not intuitively obvious to someone whose native language is
not English (in fact, probably a good percentage of the English
speaking people might not get it ... my mind just sort of wanders
off in strange directions sometimes

thanks for the explanation. I was a bit hesitant to ask because I don't know what I get into. Many years ago I asked my boss: what do you mean by hitting the

fan? He obviously got a kick out of giving me a detailed and graphic explanation.
