China Signs
During a recent trip to China I noticed many very strange signs. Although I did photograph a few, and wished I had shot more. I later found a web site which celebrates these odd ubiquitous aberations... (www.engrish.com). Most of the photos come from that site. I give them full credit!
The Chinese have a way with "Engrish", and many of the signs leave you very puzzled. My intentions were not for this to be a "show" since the photo quality is largely poor, but I wanted to share these puzzlements. I hope they amuse you as they do me.

Very funny !! I used to work for a Chinese lady who came
over to the US when she was about 15. We used to get some
of the funniest things from her -- as near as we could tell, you
would tell here something and she would translate it to Chinese
to "store it" -- somehow when it got translated "back" when she
was talking to us, it could really get scrambled (we all had some
good laughs over those translations -- her too - she had a great
sense of humor).

Well, I am very happy that the "China Signs" gave everyone a chuckle, a giggle or a laugh. I love the comic elements that can be found in every day life.
Thanks for watching and posting a reply .... I'm honored.
By the way Raymond, when I was in China our National Guide (a native Chinese) told some of those in the tour "I want to get a good start tomorrow, so I'm going to your rooms and KNOCK YOU UP!".
Lots better than a cup of coffee!

Yes, a number of years back, I remember seeing a whole
bunch of stuff where either the translation was a disaster
or the name of the product meant something that was bad
in another language (wasn't the Vega car one of those?)
