Let's Get Graffic

Postby Lavina Molnar » Thu Aug 16, 2007 2:57 am

Loaded this a couple of nights ago. Decided to post it here for anyone that wants to look-see and crit.

It's a shortie, just over 2.5 mins, and in the same vein as my 'Playing with Shapes', but don't think it is as good as that one. Don't think I posted that though - it's link is

Well Lavina, "Lets get Graphic" may have too many transitions for Al  ,
but I LOVED IT !! Very enjoyable to watch -- definitely a keeper (I know
I kept a copy). For someone confused by keyframes, you sure seem
to have everything else figured out. I liked the other one too, but
the first is my favorite. Really fun to watch with headphones and the
volume turned up. :D

Lavina,
SUPER! SUPER! SUPER!
One of the things I really like about your productions, is that they show creative ideas that can inspire all of us. Your imagination is boundless! As Mikey said "the show is a keeper".
Thank You,

Not only is your imagination boundless but your patience must be too! I continue to be amazed and inspired by your use of motion without the keyframe feature of Producer. Great job!

Very imaginative and a great fit to the music. I even recognised the glimps of the Falkirk Wheel :D

Formal Complaint

Postby alcain » Thu Aug 16, 2007 3:16 pm

There is something terribly wrong with this show. I was quite upset when it ended. Not the transitions. Not the music. Not the colors (even though I am color blind in one eye and can't see out of the other one). I was almost mad when it ended. Why? It was too short. I wanted it to go on and on and on. Very entertaining. Bravo. ~al

Thanks

Thank you boys, I do appreciate what you have written. I reckon I'll treasure your words!

I love doing this type of thing for myself and it's a huge bonus to feel someone else also enjoys what I've done. Actually I was quite expecting to take a lot of flak for 'Graffic'! It's not everyone's cup-of-tea. No doubt it is hated by many, who are being 'too polite' to say what they think of it!

Thank you all again. :)

Lavina-

Great Show! Loved every bit of it. It's gratifying when you see the end product turned out well, especially when you built it from scratch.

Lot's of fun. Nice job.

When I bought PSP, I had a specific project in mind (still do). I'm finding that throughout the day lately,
as I hear some particular music or see something interesting in the landscape around me, I will say,
"That would make a fun show." But then I think, "Naw, there's no reason for that."

Your show made me think that perhaps making a show is a bit like climbing a mountain, "Because
it's there." I can .... therefore I will. For fun. To give me pleasure.

Thanks,

Ken
