Water Reflections

Postby shaw » Wed Apr 06, 2011 2:16 am

In this show, lasting just over 5 minutes, I have selected images which depict a variety of water reflections.
I have made use of gentle motion effects on most of the images, and chosen music to match.
As always, I welcome comments from my fellow enthusiasts.

Hi Shaw, nice pace, nice mood set to the music... but wished you had given us just a bit more info on the pictures... were they taken over a period of time, are they all from the same area... different times of the year?
That being said your pictures are stunning... overall I enjoyed.

Shaw,

Could you please explain why at right hand edge of the weir (1.22), trees are reflected even though it is hard to see that they could be in such a position that they would reflect as shown?

Shaker, thank you for viewing this show. This whole area in Llangollen is surruonded by trees. I think the impression you mention, is caused by the structure of the weir, which is referred to as the "Horseshoe Falls".

Shaw,

Thankyou for your reply. My thought was triggered by how unnatural the reflection looked. But then, life is strange.
