A look at Aliens

Postby Bill105 » Fri Oct 08, 2010 6:54 pm

I've followed the forums here in ProShow Enthusiasts for some time and finally put together a show made from pics that I create using aliens and UFOs. I'm not a UFO believer but I like to create imaginary images in Photoshop Elements. This is my first attempt and I realize more could be done to animate the show. It is 2 min 55 sec of sci-fi with nothing objectionable.

Good job. I thought you did fine with the animation. Your composite pictures were nicely done too. I can tell you spent a lot of time on the details. Keep up the good work.

Yours is the second UFO themed show in the last couple days. Do I see a trend emerging?

Very good - and good job with the compositing !! Funny spin on this - I had designed and built a heater for the hummingbird feeders here (Seattle area) for when it drops below freezing (the Annas hummers hang around all winter). It is hung off the back deck and has 3 green LED's in it that indicate when the heat is on (they flash) - first night, my 21 year old son comes up from downstairs at about 2 in the morning, looks out and thought he was seeing a UFO or something before he realized it was only "dad's project" Here is a shot of it during daytime with one of the hummers on it at the back getting breakfast.

Very creative and technically well done ... and I enjoyed your touch of humor as well. Very nice tongue in cheek salute to the Aliens among us!

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment on the show. Your feedback is important to me. And to gpsmikey who posted a photo of his UFO looking hummingbird feeder - I love it. What a neat idea and clever too. Thanks for sharing the photo. -Bill105

Nice work Bill. I loved the humor. The special effects sounds added another dimension. I bet you had as much fun putting it together as I had watching.
