Kristy's First Year

Postby bjquilts63 » Mon Oct 04, 2010 2:42 am

Well, I just finished my first show. I have done a lot of scrapbooking before and tried to include that medium in the show. Not sure if it conflicts with the overall look. I am too close to the subject matter to be objective. Also the clarity of the pictures is not good because they are scanned picitured from 45 years ago. I mainly made this for my daughter but before I do anymore, I would like some feedback. Also, I noticed that my song seemed to fade better when I play it on my computer than when I watch it on the site. I need to work on that skill a little more.
It does not contain anything objectionable and it less than three minutes long.

Thanks, Barbara

Hi Barbara,
I loved your show and the scrapbook style! Your colors were soft and pretty and I thought the slide styles you used worked really well. I noticed on your other post that you wondered whether the scrapbook style should be used with ProShow. They work very well together. There are some very talented forum members who have made scrapbook shows - ChrissyC, Iris(Truly Tango) and SandyB that I can think of right at the moment. An enjoyable show! Lucie

Thanks for the response Lucie. I will try to find some of those shows to learn better how to use the two mediums. Being my first show, I was not sure if it was too much or not, but I had so few pictures to use that I thought it would make it look like more. I enjoy digital scrapbooking and would love to use it more often in future shows. As this was my first one, I was interested to get feedback to see if it worked or not. I had not been able to find any others that used it. I will try to find shows by the people you mentioned. Thanks again,
Barbara

Hi Barbara,
I kind of remembered what the shows were about so was able to find them - otherwise they would be difficult to find. Here's the links to some that I remembered. I'm sure there are others. They may not be the main show that comes up when you click on the link, you'll find them in the shows listed below the main screen.

Thank you so much. Exactly what I was looking for. Most seem to be done with Producer but I can still get a lot of ideas. I appreciate you taking the time to respond with those links.
