VIVID Sydney
Vivid Sydney once again features the spectacular illumination of the Sydney Opera House sails.
Now in its second year, it’s a harbour side artwork that’s grabbed the world’s attention!
3 Hours of picture taking compressed into a 2.5 Minutes slide show. Comments are welcome.
I'm not sure what happened but here is the link provided by Photodex (looks the same) but should work now.

Very enjoyable - only issue I had was with the font. For some reason, I found it difficult to read - my eyes kept wanting to wander off or something - not sure if it was because of the spacing between the lines or the font itself, but I found it tough to read. Great music for the show and great shots though !!

Thank you, Des Tom, Texan, Steve, Bart, Scott and Mikey for your comments;
It’s always appreciated to get some comments on your efforts.
The reason that I picked this particular font is that this font came closest to
the hand-torch writing that people used during this event. Sorry Mikey.
I tried to do this but my torch light scribbles were totally unreadable!
Once again, thank you!
Bill the Mokummer.

Hi Bill,
I enjoyed the show too. I was in Sydney for 24 hours on the 20th - 21st of last month but didn't or haven't seen this advertised. How did they project this? I have always enjoyed wandering around the opera house but I've never seen it like this! Amazing.
Best wishes from down south.
Stephen.

Stephen.
Thank you for your comment.
Sorry but I’m a bit slow at the moment with following up; to many things going on.
It was advertised in the papers, TV I’m not sure.
They used very powerful projectors mounted somewhere on a building at the Rocks.
All the images where taken with my trusty D80/Tamron 18-200 and average exposure with 400 ISO of 5-10 sec.
There was more than I showed but I had enough after a couple of hours and was getting cold.
Greetings.
Bill

Thank you for your comments; Iris and Andrew.
Like most enthusiasts on this board slide shows are made for our own pleasure and to show friends and family. When others enjoy your presentation and comment on your efforts’ it’s a bonus.
I enjoy showing interesting sites from Australia to the world as well looking at work from other parts of our globe. It’s hard to keep up with all those great shows made by others, there are just not enough hours in a day.

Lovely. Really.
The pics in a row that are taken from the same angle could benefit from being more precisely aligned or have some other pics from other angles in between them.
Hope todays storm is not creating too much damage in Australia.
All the best from Copenhagen
