Sun n Shade

Postby mfalco » Tue Apr 20, 2010 9:56 am

My apology to all who tried to look at my last post. I deleted it and was expecting to replace it and never got around to it. I became unemployed and my priority was to find work. The good news is that I did. While looking for work I wasn't able to take may pictures but what I have so far is in this preview. I did change the music. I just couldn't stand the other song. Here is the post with the correct link. It's a little over 1 minute. Again sorry for not doing this sooner.

Thanks for taking a look. I do not like using photos that I have previously used in other shows, however I did use two from the past. The framing was from a program called photo studio. I use several inexpense programs. I will try to complete this show as soon as possible. I don't want to be remembered as someone who only post tid bits. :) Thanks again for looking.

What stunning photos of flowers!

Liked the music.

From this frame addict: Really liked the frames.

The only thing I didn't care for were a few of the transitions. For instance, the puzzle just didn't seem to go with the flowers. Elegant subjects need elegant transitions.

Here's what's best: Hearing that someone found a job! Not easy these days.

Marty, I'm not sure what you mean with "what do you think works best?" Did you mean with the transitions or something else?

Barbara,

I'm pretty open to advice as to what transitions and effects would make the show better. Remember that I only have PSG. I feel limited at times not having PSP, but since I really don't make anything from it I have a hard time justifing the purchase. Not like most members I really don't spend a lot of time researching different add ons to PSG, but if you know what would make it better just let me know. I'm also open to what photos to use... all flowers or other subjects. If flowers... macros or wide angle shots. If fact if anyone else would like to give their imput please do.

Thanks...Marty

Marty, it's interesting that, though I own Producer, I very often use it as if it's Gold because I find that the more bells and whistles one adds to a show, the more likely it is to get bogged down and start lurching. Because of this little problem, I've found that quite often the things one can accomplish in Producer can, with a bunch more slides, also be done in Gold. Don't ever feel like you're the poor relation here on the forum. :D

You did a show filled with gorgeous photos of gorgeous flowers, and you gave them center stage just as they deserved. It was only the few oddball transitions that didn't seem to fit, in particular, the puzzle because it didn't relate to the subject. But that's all. You did an excellent job.
