HI Mokummer,
Absolutely beuatiful !!!! Not only the orchids, but also your show. The photography is wonderful, you made a great use of backgrounds to enhance the pictures, and the music was a very good choice... very relaxing, and not stealing attention from the flowers. The whole show had a very elegant mood, and you have a fantastic eye for shooting flowers !
Thanks for sharing,
Cristina

Beautiful showing. But you are a "bad boy" for not sharing some of your photography secrets!!
I assume you carry colored cardboard small backdrops? And what photographic gear do you use - very nice close up workmanship. Thank you for sharing!! ~al

Thank you Cristina and Alcain for your nice remarks’ that’s very much appreciated.

Hm! I’m a “bad boy” I’ll take that on the chin!

Well; the camera is a Nikon D80 with Tamron 18-250 zoom lens.
Some shots were taken outside on tripod but most at orchid shows handheld with Nikon SB600 to which I have attached a self made soft reflector based on the Lumiquest Promax Diffuser. Works beautifully!

For the outside shots I indeed used some cardboard backdrops; for the rest hours and hours of removing messy backdrops in PaintShop Pro.

Hope this helps. :)

Greetings, Mokummer

Hi Mokummer,

Love the orchids - don't think I've ever seen one like the yellow one at 5:25. They're all beautiful! :D

I'm not sure why but both times I have tried to watch it, it stops at the same place. It's around the 1:40 mark.

So far I love it. I wish I could have seen the black and white a bit longer. The tones are beautiful!

Thank you Debbie, Alexandra and Sue, your remarks are very much appreciated.

The viewing problem I will investigate; just wondering if anyone else experienced this. Please let me know!!

It could be that the BETA version I made the show on is the culprit or sometimes Presenter does some funny things. Computes and software are complex in coding that often results in conflicts.
I just checked the show but didn’t give any problem to me at the 1.40 mark.

Greetings to all.

Yep. 1:40 it froze up on me repeating the same music phrase like a skipped record.
The photos and detail of the blossoms are amazing. I just happened to thing while starting this show, why not show us some flowers while presenting the Raskin quote? The quote is wholely suitable, but a bit dry with the scrolling words. Maybe scrolling photos as the quote is presented, or background photos? I'd like to see more if you can fix the presenter issue.

Thank you bellzerr for your feedback.

I have since uploaded another slide show made in the current ProshowGold Version 4.0.2549 and have tested this several times without any glitches.

About your other suggestions; I’m not sure if this is possible in ProShow Gold, I’m still learning plus we all have different ideas on how to present a slide show.

Of course all advise is welcome and appreciated.

All fixed - it played flawlessly now. The black & white photo at 4:00 was so dramatic that the transition to color surprised me. Sweet! Beautiful show.

Thank you George and Shaz for you nice comments.

Firstly it’s enjoyable to produce a slide show from the beauty of nature plus it’s
a bonus if others like it too! :D

There is another bonus as well; we all learn from each other.

Greetings to all.

Hi Mokummer,

You are a gifted photographer.

Fabulous photos with soothing music. You captured the beauty of the flowers and make me wonder to look for fragrance from these wonderful photographs. May be in my lifetime, someone will develop a program and the tools to enjoy good photography, music and the fresh smell from the flowers.

Thanks for sharing your experience.
