Hi Raymond.

That’s a very interesting subject.
Of course iceberg after iceberg braking up becomes a bit boring but it reinforces the situation of global warming.
Must have been awesome to watch and COLD!
I like the finishing shots; a few close-ups of the seals would have been nice.

Well done!!

I bet it was a great trip. I do love the blue ice. The seals at the end were cool too.

Thanks for sharing!

What was the sound track used in the production?

Interesting to watch.

Beautiful. Some say it was boreing afterwhile but we found it beautiful and to listen to the "White Thunder" was excitement. Sounded just like a thunder storm and the sun shining through the ice makes it turquoise color. The seals love to ride the pieces of ice but they have other things to do. Thanks for posting. Must get back up to that part of the country again. I had the pleasure of spending a year of isolated duty on the island of Attu, the last island on the Aleutian chain. It is the most westerly part of the United States and further west than Hawaii.

Thanks for watching and responding.

Mockhummer: Glaciers calving into the ocean may be a sign of global warming but not necessarily. An inland glacier that we visited is advancing and if it continues at its current rate it will consume the cabin where we ate lunch in about thirty years.

Bob: I get my music from the Dollar Store to avoid copy write infringement. This is Liberace’s “I’m Always Chasing Rainbows”

Cool in more ways than one! Must have been a great trip and I bet it was every bit as cold as it looks! Like the seals at the end.

Raymond,

Interesting show; thanks for posting.

I don't understand, though, how purchasing one of Liberace's tunes at the Dollar Store clears one of copyright infringement.

An it may not but if the Dollar Store has it the copywrite has probably long since expired,

Sorry to disappoint, Raymond, but I don't believe recordings have an expiration since the Bono Act. It is a shame and very frustrating, but royalty-free appears to be the only route that is entirely safe.

Thanks Ann. I did not know about any exceptions to the copywrite laws.
