Show Displaying Topaz Adjustment Program

Postby fredsheppard » Mon Feb 09, 2009 11:29 pm

I have had the Topaz adjust program for several months and just for fun I have produced a short short
show 1min 5 sec with music where I have shown the before and after treatment.
It could be interesting to watch in full screen

Fred,
Nice short show. An Interesting effect produced by the Topaz program - almost other worldly. A lot of potential when used with a programe like PSG/PSP.

Jason

Fred....i have Topaz Adjust also and have been playing around with it. I use it as a filter in Paint Shop Pro 8 . i downloaded it as a trial first then decided to buy it soon after. You did a great job with it. I still have more practicing to do, but have created some neat stuff...well at least I like them.

The program is known as Topaz Adjust
The program is highly experimental and the results can not be guaranteed.
What I find is that the photographs taken on over cast days turn out best
or low contrast photos . .Highlights sometimes drive the program wild
I find most pictures can use enhancement in photoshop or any editing program
The processing time will tax your computers resources.
A 20 meg file will take as high as 12 min to process .
As a result after I click the mouse I find other things to do to until the process is finished .

Hello,

Bravo to these examples of uses of Topaz. I have the software I tried for several hours to do something to me satisfactory. I never managed to get a result as one of your photos. Is it possible for you to give me the parameters used in any of your photos (before / after) Thank you in advance for your help.

I find with Topaz, Lucis and Akvis it all depends on the photo! Some just naturally turn out great. So if they don't lend themselves that way you can tweak in CS3 before the filter and then see what happens. Thank goodness for them as I don't know that I would have the patience to do it myself! Does anyone know if Topaz Adjust will work as a plug in for Photoshop Elements 6? I assume that it can also be used as a stand alone program.

Thanks,
Doug

Yes. According to the compatibility section of the Topaz Adjust website - yes, it works with Photoshop Elements. Check out this link for details:
