Grandkids 2008

Postby TinaJ » Sun Jan 18, 2009 6:41 am

If you've been here any length of time, you might know that I got proshow so I could document the lives of my grandkids. Well, my son and his wife gifted me with another grandson on Veteran's Day, so instead of boring you with all the kids shows at once, I'll just share the baby's, since his is pretty short, 2:54 and 12.58 MB. A couple of caveats: most pics were taken by my dil who puts her subjects off center a lot, so there are slides that look like they have been pulled to one side or another, so they will be centered on tv. She also is famous for nostril shots of the babies. And, there is one pic, taken during Thanksgiving, that I think she must have been eating and accidentally touched the lens, as there is a big blur spot in the pic. What can I say-she's young and busy, and I'm old and have lots of time to play with my shows. Hope you enjoy it, I don't believe I did anything new in this one.

Tina you had me cracking up even before I saw the video! I've taken a few "nostril shots" myself!

I LOVED the music. Who was that?

The kids are just adorable and you have some great shots of them. I loved the ones where the kids were holding and cuddling the new one. it was just so sweet. Just think, in 5 years they'll be telling on each other, biting, and wiping boogies on each other. I guess these are 'the good old days".

Thanks Sue! That's what my shows are all about, preserving memories. I have finally let go of worrying about perfect pictures and fancy transitions. I just want to look at the pics and think back....
First song is Plumb, In My Arms. the second is Mark Harris, Find Your Wings. Both I heard here on others shows, thanks to those people.
Glad you enjoyed my skewed sense of humor!

Yes it is! They are about 6 hours from us in Maine, and sometimes its too far, other times, darn, it seems too close! lol. They will be here in March delivering Girl Scout cookies, and I'm looking forward to a short visit from that active crew!!

ps. Roo, I just noticed your link to your shows, so being nosy, had to check them out. The Summer Fun one-OMG! The little boy's eyes are the most amazing shade of blue!! You got some amazing shots of those eyes, they just sucked me right in! And the David Cassidy song took me right back to my teen years, I loved that song! Bet I still have the album somewhere, I will have to check, that song is perfect for summer pics!!

That's my nephew and yes his eyes are AMAZING!People have commented on his eyes since he was an infant.

I have family in Bristol too.

LOL I have family in Maine too! Waaaaaay up in 'The County' most of them, though some of them are down in the Sebago area....Standish, Windham.

And I saw David Cassidy perform down at the Mohegan Sun casino a few years back...he's still got it!
