Golden Oldies

Postby BarbaraC » Mon Dec 01, 2008 1:06 pm

Please, all you Gold folk, go check out the "Golden Oldies" challenge. It's in the Producer Challenge forum, but it's meant for absolutely everyone. It's simply easier to do it all in just one place. Find it here:

http://www.proshowenthusiasts.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=9702

Some of the best shows have been created in Gold, and it's time they were seen by newcomers and remembered by oldcomers.

What a great idea! :D I've just recently joined ProShow Enthusiasts - after lurking here for several weeks. A most amazing forum!

I've been using ProShow Gold for several years now, & have created over 15 shows [mostly travel shows]. I like the PSG software an awful lot. I'm a happy customer! :D

I must say I've been inspired by Lavinia Molnar' s shows & have adapted some of her techniques for my own purposes. As a PS Gold user, I really owe her a debt of gratitude. Hope she doesn't mind if I point other members to her shows. Here's the link:

I do think that ProShow Gold users will lean an awful lot by watching Lavinia Molnar's shows.
Cheers,
Aida

Aida, could you supply the URL for the original thread so people who haven't seen this tutorial can comment on it? I wanted to do so, but just didn't know where to find it. :(

Here's the URL for one of the original threads re Lavina Molnar's animated cubes:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5169

It's in the PSG samples section. Knowing how to create animated cubes, flowers, & whatnot in PSGold can be another wonderful gadget to have in one's tool box - good to have it there, ready to be used when needed.

As a relative newcomer to Gold, this is a very helpful suggestion. So, is someone going to start a Golden Oldies thread as suggested by the Moderator?

Go to the link below in the Producer Challenge area. I think it was decided to just have the Oldies shared in that area rather than creating one area each for Gold and Producer shows in this case. Then scroll down to view thread with "Golden Oldies" in the title. Those are the threads associated with the older shows.

viewforum.php?f=30

Hope that makes sense.

Definitely gotta mention Peter Frampton in the "Golden Oldies" thread www.proshowenthusiasts.com/viewtopic.ph ... 24&p=78991 (unfortunately, presenter is NOT behaving itself on my machine this morning  but it looks like they are still there ).
