what should the internal max rendering resolution default be > thanks janis

If you mean the maximum bitrate for rendering, that would typically be 8000 to 9400kbps. That is not the actual bitrate that will be used, just the maximum allowed. The minimum would be around 2000kbps I believe.

Edit/Preferences/Miscellaneous Max Preview Rendering Resolution. Set this value to your LCD monitors native resolution. .whatever that is.

I have my Max Preview Rendering Resolution set to 1680x1050 for my HP-20in widescreen so that anytime during editing if I want to preview a show full screen, I'll get a nice sharp preview that utilizes my monitors full resolution capability. If your LCD monitor is 1280x1024 then you would set your Max Preview Rendering Resolution to this value.

One thing, setting this value does nothing for viewing shows from the photodex site. Its only for previewing shows you open within Proshow for editing.
