How about a ProShow spell checker for those of us that use the app for more generalized presentation!

It would be a blessing for a lot of people, but you usually only have a spell checker on word processing apps. Besides, not everyone that uses Proshow does their captions in English.

If you need to check your spelling, my suggestion would be to type it out in something that has a spell checker available and then paste it into PSP.

A variation on Kathy's suggestion would be to do the captions in ProShow, copy and paste them into a word processor, and then check the spelling. Of course, there's always this method: share the show and wait for the rest of us smartypants to tell you about typos and spelling errors. :D

You could do as another ProShow user did and that is to use the ProShow File viewer from the Member Files section to extract your captions into a text file. From there you could open the file in your word processor and run spell check. It will flag the misspelled words in the language appropriate for the word processor.

Try it and see if it helps. viewtopic.php?f=15&t=8118
