The ability to add more than one sound clip to a slide

Postby HunnyB » Tue Feb 19, 2008 5:37 am

I ran into this recently - would have been so nice to be able
to insert 2 sound clips to one slide.

Hi HunnyB

You may technically insert as many soundtracks as you need on a slide. The trick is to add a blank slide with a duration of 0 second and cuts 0 second before and after. On this blank slide you could insert a soundtrack that will be heard on the following slide. If needed, you may add another blank slide in the same conditions. This may help waiting for a real soundtracks management on ProShow.

Thats great adding a sound track to a slide that virtually does not exist  .

A great piece of information, thank you.

Jeep - what a clever rascal !! :D

You do have to make sure you check the box that says "continue after
slide ends" or something like that though

You can't have too many gadgets or too much disk space !!

You will be surprised if I say "No... it's not necessary" As it's a virtual slide with 0 second you may or you may not check the box !

Interesting !! That does sound like one of those "features" that may get "fixed"
some day so that it works like you would expect (simply chop off with a 0 second
slide). Good to know though !!

Hi Jeep,

What an inquisitive mind you have, digging into PSP and finding these undocumented tips.

This is a dandy, thanks for posting.

Steve.

Hunny,

I think somewhere in the Forum book it tells how to add up to 3 sounds to a slide. Check page 55.
