WebM video file format support (HTML5 video tag)
As I'm sure you know, HTML5 is gaining ground, but not all browsers support all video formats for the new <video> tag.
PSP 4.5 has two of the three video file formats required to support all HTML5 browsers: MP4 AVC and Ogg/Theora.
The one that is missing is WebM (VP8 video codec, Vorbis audio codec) which is/will be supported by IE9, FF4, Chrome6 and Opera11.
This is a feature request for Photodex to add the ability to create Video File output in the WebM format at their earliest convenience, so that we can use HTML5 video tags to display PSP-created slideshow video in all common browsers.
Email was sent to Photodex support requesting this feature.
