Group or lock keyframes
I frequently need to move ALL the keyframes for a given layer along the timeline to alter the when the layer appears with respect to the rest of the slide action. If I could select multiple keyframes for the same layer and move them together along the timeline, it could save me a lot of work in creating shows.
So the amount of elapsed time between the keyframes would not change, but the actual time setting number for all the keyframes would be adjusted according to where I move them on the timeline.

Re: Group or lock keyframes
congrats on the promotion Mark.
If you want to move ALL of the keyframes, this can be done by holding down the ALT key. You must have space in the slide time to move them all left or right. Most times I am able to alter the ending or the start to allow that space needed.
Would like to see a way to move some (not all) of the keyframes as a unit also, though.

Cathy, Cathy, Cathy...
The ALT key works like a charm. You have just saved me hours of work on all my future shows! Thank you so much for this valuable tip.

I can't say enough about how helpful this tip has been already for the work I did this weekend. I made an earlier post about how captions slow me done. This was one of the reasons. Now I can get the caption-time-on-screen right and move the caption earlier or later on the slide in no time. What a time saver. Thanks again Cathy.

Re: Group or lock keyframes
I'm confused.
The ALT key does nothing for me. However, the CTRL key shifts all key frames on the layer.
Can someone explain this?
Thanks!

I'm using Producer 4.0.2549.
ALT drag moves ALL keyframes for the layer on the timeline preserving the time span between all of the keyframes.
CTRL drag has no effect - that is only the highlighted keyframe moves.

Re: Group or lock keyframes
Ah ok I know what you mean now. Thanks.
Using CRTL also shifts all the keyframes at least in the multi-frame editor. But it's not as accurate as the using the alt key. It doesn't seem to be proportional at all.
