Enhanced Slide Styles Management

Postby jdgouk » Fri Jan 09, 2009 8:34 am

The new slide styles in PSP4 are fantastic. Much better way to add common styles v template approach in previous versions.

So with the plaudits out of the way - the request for PSP in the future...

Even without creating your own styles there are already quite a set of styles shipped with PSP4. Trawling through these to find the style you want would be easier/quicker if some auto filters could be set. What would be great would be some more intelligence applied by PSP to filter out styles not relevant to the current show/slide. ie...

If my show is in 16:9 widescreen format - it would be great if PSP didn't show the 4:3 styles.

If my slide has 3 layers - it would be great if PSP only showed styles created for 3 layers or more

A filter/tab to show only my own created slide styles would be nice

Of course a feature to turn on/off this intelligence would also be good in the preferences :D

Hope this makes sense.
Regards
Jason

The new version they just posted appears to have at least some of what you want. That is, if I'm reading their list of fixes correctly. :D

So it does Barbara.

Maybe I should post some more suggestions and see if they include them in a revision within 24 hours of my post.
