Burning one show across multiple disks

Would be nice to be able to create a show without regard to the media size you'll be burning to (e.g. single-layer DVD).
If burning a large show that will not fit on the selected media output type (again, DVD), there should be an event that asks you if you want to select a different media type, or, burn the image file across multiple disks. I cannot believe this feature is not already built in.
