Interesting, useful photo articles
Thought I'd start a thread that others can tag onto with interesting, useful photography articles we have run across. Here's a starter -- a series that ends up making a short pamphlet with all the basics--but don't dismiss it for that, we all need reminders occasionally and he does a good job. I found myself saving bits and and saying "oh, yeah, I'd almost forgotten that..."

Here's another series of very informative online magazines from PhotographyBB. They include some excellent Photoshop tutorials as well as photography tips.

To Barbara from Barbara: Now THAT'S a super link! I've already downloaded one of the issues, read part of it, and now it's saved on my Desktop so I won't forget to read more of it.
It's totally free? I have to go back there and inspect things better.

Barbara,
Yes it's totally free and I've learned a lot from this magazine. The first two issues had a great series on curves that I found very informative. Each issue so far has been very useful.
There are also some very nice Photoshop actions on the PhotographyBB site. Some are for sale but many are free.

Re: Interesting, useful photo articles
This is not an "article" exactly but just as helpful, if not more IMO because you can also LISTEN to free, good information while doing something else.
I scour the internet for informative photography podcasts to listen to while I'm doing work on my computer.
Of the many I've found and listened to, one of my favorites is the one below. It is loaded with all sorts of info and the guy that produces the podcast doesn't spend a lot of time talking about nothing.
I would start at the bottom and work up from there to the most current podcast. These can also be saved to your PC or iPod type device and listened to in your car stereo via auxiliary input if you have a car that will do that. There are also show notes if you like to read through them on the website.
