Where To Find Images

Postby HunnyB » Thu Apr 24, 2008 7:50 am

For the very first time in my slideshow career --- I have
found a song that has to be made into a show.
I need a good suggestion for a website that has
"free" high res. stock photos.

Thanks in advance.

Hi HunnyB,
One Website that comes to mind is Dreamstime. You'll need to take time to review the terms and conditions but here's the link to the free stock photos

http://www.dreamstime.com/free-photos

HunnyB,

Try these:-

http://www.fontplay.com/freephotos/

These are free photos that may be used by anyone for any artistic endeavor
personal or commercial without having to give credit or a link etc. Terms of Use
Use these images at your own risk. I can only assert that the photos were taken
by me and my friends, and we don't mind if you use them. More legal words here
If you do anything cool with any them, I would love to see it.

http://www.freephotos.se/

FreePhotos.se is a simple web site sharing photos from personal collections. I hope some of you will find
use for the photos, though they are not taken by any professional photographers.
All photos on this site are really free for any use! All photos have been dedicated to the public domain.
This means you can use them pretty much anywhere and anyhow you like. Even commercial use is allowed

Thanks everyone for helping with this.

Kay, the song is 'Stronger Than Before", by Olivia Newton John.
It is about surviving cancer.

HunnyB,

Here is another site that has free pictures to use:
http://morguefile.com/

From the site:
"This morgue file contains free high resolution digital stock photography for either corporate or public use."

We used this site at our school.

Hi HunnyB, I'm going to look for that song, we were rocked down to our souls on March 8 2008, my darling hubby went into the ER for a sore back that just wouldn't go away, pain was so bad that terrible Saturday night, he looked at me and said you better take me in honey, this pain is killing me, so off we went, that night after a lot of blood tests the ER Dr sat by him and said buddy, your in big trouble..he has Multiple Myeloma, cancer of his blood cells, Geraldine Ferraro has this, she's been in remission for 12 years! she's in her 70's, my hubby is in his early 50's so there is hope. Long story short he's taking Velcade (chemo) no hair loss and no throwing up, yay he is doing fantastic, responding to the chemo very good, his lab tests show the cancer is being destroyed...I would love to hear this song, I will wait to see the wonderful show you'll make. It's not just him that is going through this, I am as well, it effects me as well, an uplifting song will be just what I need. This group has been very good for me, I love hanging out here, Making a show and learning Producer takes me to a place where all I'm thinking about is learning this program, taking tutorials and reading these posts..good therepy!
Thanks for listening
huggs, Chrissy

Hi HunnyB - my favorite site ishttp://www.freefoto.com. They have some amazing things. On a sidenote, a companion site for things of a christian nature, is their site http://www.reelworship.com which has amazing backghrounds and video clips.

Hope all is well!
