I love the LOLCats, and figured I should post an entry:

I wonder if it will make the front page? ;-)

Nope...it was taken at the Bear Creek Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary for whom I am the "official" shutterbug.

But I wouldn't have minded selling a license for the shot to the news agencies that covered that SF incident. Pity about the cat being put down....it's always the animal that suffers.
I heard some rumours that someone was antagonizing the animal, which prompted the attack. Sad. Maybe a Darwin Award candidate?

The original title on the photo is "The last shot on the CF card....". ;-)

Great shot plus a great and funny thought.

It immediately reminded me of a particular Kliban cat which included this little ditty:

"Love to eat them mousies,
mousies what I love to eat.
Bite they little heads off,
Nibble on they tiny feet..."

I was kidding about being SF.

You're right, it is a shame they had to put the cat down. I don't know if it will come out that the cat was taunted, but something happened and the cat should never have been able to get out of that area. Sad to see.
