Hey Guys

I just received my new Nikon D300 two days ago. All I can say is "AWESOME"

Blows my old D70 out if the water.

Blessings

Well, for $1800 USD or so (body only), I would expect it to be a bit better than
the D70 ... now if I can just come up with a convincing argument for
my wife why I should replace my D70s. "ooops - sorry dear - I have
no idea how my camera got behind the wheel of your car in the driveway!"

Congratulations on the new goodie !!

Thanks Mike

Not being married I only had to ask permission from myself. Funny, I didn't get any objections!

Ps Paid the same for the D70 with kit lens.

Tell her about the new D300 "slimming" mode, which will make her fat *ss look svelte! ;-)

Though I recommend that you use more circumspect terms when you sell the idea to her.

I gotta be a bit cleverer than that -- she is just likely to respond with "why don't
you just change tha aspect ratio in Photoshop" and save the cost :?
