I purchased the D40 this past weekend and have been driving my family crazy with "test" pictures. Thankfully, I do have a 10 month old nephew that loves to "ham it up" in front of the camera. Thanks to all of you - I feel like I was able to make a more informed decision. Now, I just need to learn how to use it to the fullest. I am learning quite a bit from the forums and discussion links some of you have recommended.
