Using a DSLR for those video clips ? Cheap shoulder mt.

If you are using a DSLR (or any other camera for that matter) for those video clips and want a cheap way to stabilize the camera without breaking the bank, check out this post - I saw it on Facebook this morning by NewBlueFX - very good (and inexpensive) way to make a shoulder mount for the camera.

Hi,
It a fantastic shoulder rig, near 10 boxes. But I already have my two tripods. Thank Mickey for the link,

Another useful channel that offers inexpensive DIY filmmaking equipment how-to videos is the The Frugal Filmmaker.

Neat ideas. Wish I had someone to make them for me. Thanks for posting.

I purchased a shoulder mount made by cowboy studios on amazon for $26. that works great for sporting events or other times you want the camera ready for action. Use it for both video and still. Hands free so you can make camera adjustments, fluid panning by using your body, and takes the stress and fatique off from holding the camera for extended periods of time. No repositioning tripods or monopods either, just move and shoot. Wish I would have discovered it when the kids were younger, too many shaky home videos to speak of! Oh well, at least I can use it for the grandkids. :D
