Free Cameras

Wondering what to do with two cameras.

Minolta Freedom Zoom 130

Olympus D-460 Zoom
http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-D-460-Digital-Camera-Optical/dp/B00004R8VC

Both in original boxes, all cords, software, manuals etc. included.
If you want either of both of them, send me a PM and we can work out the details.
Or maybe suggest what I should do with them.

Wish I'd seen this last week! I was looking for an older digital camera to give to a soon to be 11 year old. I found a 4 megapixel Kodak easy share on EBay, but I'd have been happier to buy from someone I knew...

There must be zillions of lower mega pixel cameras out there that could be put to such use. I'd rather have a youngster using a real camera instead of a toy type one, but at the same time you do have to remember that they might not take the same care of a good one as you would.

Nice idea to give an older digital camera to a young person. One of the Forum members who requested
the cameras will donate them to a school where they have a "Kids View" photography program.

Good idea and I'm glad the cameras found new homes. Works for me.

Smiles, Sandy
