Shutter release cable question
I would like opinions and/or suggestions. I am looking at a Timer Remote Control Shutter for my Canon 50D. I am seriously looking at the Satechi TRA (because is it cheaper than the Canon's) and of course the Canon TC80N3. I was wondering if anyone has the Satechi TRA and what they thought of it. Or, do you have another suggested brand. I have a wireless remote but when you take the picture you can't see the picture in the lcd screen without removing the wireless remote. I am wanting to replace that. Or, does anyone have a wireless remote that when you take the picture you can see the photo in the lcd.
Thanks for your help,
Kaye

Re: Shutter release cable question
I've been thinking of buying a wireless remote myself one of these days.
I don't know the answer to your question but this Canon forum might be helpful.

Re: Shutter release cable question
For wireless shutter, I use n RFn3-RX trigger. I works really well....just make sure you turn it off when you're done using it. They have them for Nikon and Canon.

Who makes the RFn3-RX trigger?

Here is the amazon link for the Canon Model. I actually got mine from Christian Photo in Des Moines, IA. They are a good brick and mortar location is you like to support those businesses.

Re: Shutter release cable question
Thanks everyone for your info. I searched on Google on the suggested products which led me to reviews of other remotes. Anyhow, after looking at the different reviews I settled on ordering the Phottix Cleon II C8 for Canon 50D. It seemed to get very good reviews and it is a wired/wireless remote.

Re: Shutter release cable question
That is great. Wireless triggers are great. They are really great when you don't have an assistant and you need someone to hold a reflector or entertain children or just sit back and have a Margarita while your click away.
