Steve I would check this out first. I have it and it works great. The one you mention is a little pricey. Cheers Jan

The program looks fantastic and I'd love to have it. An easy to use time saver. The only downside I see is that it won't support the 64-bit version of CS4. That's really all that's keeping me from springing for it. I like the fact that it works with Lightroom.

I appreciate the link to ReDynamix, I will certainly take a look at it
I’ve been using the 30 day demo of the Photo Tools 2 and it works very well, how ever as you have stated it is a little pricey.
Also for others reading this post another product that onone software offers is Genuine Fractals 6

An easy-to-use plug-in for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Apple Aperture, Genuine Fractals is loaded with resizing features that give you professional results every time. In addition to being able to enlarge images in high-quality, you can also crop and resize images in a single step, resize an entire folder of images with complete control of sizes, resolution, and file formats, and use the new Tiling and Gallery Wrap features to produce stunning prints. I am trying the 30 day demo and have been very impressed with the results and intend to purchase. ( that is until Jan points me in the right direction to something better )

There are lots out there but the two I have heard the best comments on are Fractals and Blow Up. Then there is this one and I haven't heard of it but it has samples of what it can do compared to others.
Intelligent Upsampling: Stair Interpolation (SI)
Demonstrates how using the Stair Interpolation action can produce better enlargements than Photoshop's bicubic interpolation or the Genuine Fractals plus-in. Includes enlargement examples, and a information on how to purchase the SI action for Mac and Windows.
All the best, let us know what you decide on and how it works for you! Cheers Jan

Re: Photo Tools 2 - Photoshop Plugin
I use Genuine Fractals and did use the stair type of resizing quite a long time ago. I find that Genuine Fractals--because of the adjustments you can make during the resizing process--works better. I'd been wanting GF for a long, long time, and then they made an offer I couldn't refuse. They dropped its price drastically just before coming out with the next version, and included in that attractive price was a free upgrade to the newest version. Just couldn't pass it up.

I’ve been using the trial version and I must admit this is a great program.
As my boss (wife) said “Wow you’ve managed to iron out all the wrinkles I look 20 years younger”
So she's allowed me to put it on my Birthday wish list…
OK its back to the ironing… lots of wrinkles to iron out

Steve, I own the whole suite. Very addictive. It is considered cheating though - does the same thing you can do for yourself - but (the reason I bought it) in about one tenth the time. OnOne is soon coming out with the Ipod Touch remote software for my Nikon DSLR'S!!!
It is pricy, but you get a superb product.

Re: Photo Tools 2 - Photoshop Plugin
I came very near buying the entire suite last year but the lack of 64 bit support concerned me because my previous and also my new computer will be built with 64 bit OS. Computer technology, especially for professional editing capability, is going to be pretty exclusively 64 bit very shortly.
The time saving consideration that Al mentioned can be utilized within CS4 extended, as well as earlier editions, as it is shipped by creating actions and scripts.
Best regards,
Donald Miller

Agreed. However the vast majority of photographers and Photoshop users don't have the time or the inclination to create actions and scripts. I would prefer to pay someone who has proven themselves adept at creating time consuming and sometimes difficult actions and scripts. Besides, it is so much fun using someone else s work!
I do admire your talent and abilities, Don. It's just not my way of workflow...
