Keyframing in Producer: from beginner to expert

Postby Italiamipiace » Sun Nov 30, 2008 3:15 am

Based on many ideas and tutorials finded on the Proshow Enthusiasts Forum, I wrote some Word docs about Keyframing.

The version of Proshow Producer used here is 3.2.2047.

The zip file include Word documents that are part of a bundle of documents about layers, key framing, motions, masks and templates. Each is foreseen with explicative pictures.

1 Layers Layers.doc
2 Key Framing Key framing in Producer – from beginner to expert.doc
3 Motion Key Framing Motion Key Framing.doc
4 Masks Masking in Proshow.doc
5 Workflow Workflow layers and Keyframes.doc
6 Templates Development of a simple template.doc
7 Templates How to Import and use templates

Each document is on its own, but to understand the different Key Framings applications, it’s necessary to have a good knowledge on layers, so start with this one.

The zip file is located at Word Tutorial ZIP file.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please PM on this forum.

greetings,

Alex

Alex

I have posted elsewhere as well.

These are a good addition to THE BOOK, thanks very much. I am sure they will be useful to beginners and others using Producer. I have not gone through them in detail and some of them I will have to brush up on my Flemish/Dutch

I don't know how to open .rar files. Are these part of the information or a duplicate?
Thanks so much.

Funtolearn

a rar file is very much like a zip file except you need something like Winrar to open it instead of Winzip.

Oeps, did I miss something?

Muriel : For decompressing RAR files: http://www.zipgenius.it/eng/ does it free. WinRAR does it all, but you have to pay for it.

Douglas: is there still Flemish text in the files? Thought I translated everything. Can you tell in which doc ?

I will collect all remarks, suggestions and questions, do the corrections and upload a V2 of the docs.

Cheers,

Alex

It was me, Brian, not Douglas who is busy learning Flemish

There is the one zip file 'Layers.zip', that has two documents 'How to add a layer to an existing show with motions', and Keyframing with 4 layers and freezing' that are in, I think, Flemish.

The 'Layers.doc' in the same zip file is in English.

Off topic: When I visited my company office in Brussels the engineer there spoke seven european languages. This was not just one language at a time, but changing between languages in the same sentence. The person at the other end of the phone also understood this change in language. Asked why he did this the reply was, I use the language that easiest to explain what I want.

It really puts us English speakers to shame, expecting everything to be in our language.

Sorry Brian,

Saw my mistake to late. It's no good to be in a hurry when posting tutorials or answering emails.

The doc "Keyframing with 4 layers and freezing" wasn't meant to be included yet.
Still have to see if it’s worth to be translated.

Off the record: I only speak Flemish (=Dutch), French, English and Italian (My favourite).
I understand German but didn’t’ have much experience speaking it, and Spanish only if they speak slowly (is almost like Italian but pronounced differently).
But in Belgium, without language acknowledge it’s difficult to find a good job.

Cheers,

Alex
