How to add sparkles in presentation?

I just can't for the life of me get the Alpha Channel stuff in my head. :roll:

Jennifer ---- with this new template you are creating with the sparkles,
will I be able to just add it to my slide, or will I have to have the visisketch program to
do the effect??
