Dilyla's Basketweave Effects - Tutorial, Samples and Masks
Below are links to show files showing examples (two sample shows and one tutorial) to the Basketweave Effect(s) technique I created in another post. The tutorial show link covers using my simple b&w checkered mask and examples of how to adjust the positioning for the different effects. It became obvious I needed to post these publicly for download rather than answering individual PMs! Not that I minded the PMs.... it was just getting time consuming!
I am a believer that seeing how a show is constructed & dissecting it, helps in the learning process. At the bottom of this post you will find download links to the full samples/tutorial (containing all THREE of my masks -- originally I only shared the simple b&w checkered mask). The effects/masks included in the Effect(s) #1 are a little more complicated with keyframing & up to 19 layers on one slide, but are pretty self explanatory. There aren't any adjustments to positioning for these effects, so I didn't feel a tutorial was necessary.

Your tutorial and demonstrations are so much more elegant looking than my simple experiment Diana. I'm so glad you posted this and added some additional sample slides to that effect in your demo/tutorial.
It was a brilliantly simple thought to work the effect this way using the masking feature in Producer. So glad you thought of it!

More than welcome, Debbie, Mary & Linda --
If anybody comes up with a 'wow' effect, be sure to post a sample show so we can *all* see & learn. The adjustments are so endless, no telling what might appear from experimentation!

Diana,
Thanks for taking the time to post not only your ideas, but providing the mask files and a tutorial. I, too, like the tutorial to show how things work. I know what I will be working on this weekend
Thanks, again.

Kelly & Pauline -
Thanks for the kind comments. I'm glad you both found it useful! I think within the proper show setting & when used in moderation, the technique could be applied in numerous ways.
Have fun experimenting!

Re: Dilyla's Basketweave Effects - Tutorial, Samples and Masks
Hi I'm Min - I haven't done this before and don't know what I should be doing - I viewed the show and tried to get the masks but could not get access - I know this was a long time ago, but is there anyway I could get a copy of these masks - I can't seem to get my head around using a mask - even though I have looked at a lot of information in the Forum
Re: Dilyla's Basketweave Effects - Tutorial, Samples and Masks
