"Backward Fold In/Out Caption Effect" 1:42 min
This effect in a Mark Ridout show intrigued me so I decided to try and figure it out.
I first posted this in May-07. But now that we have a tutorial section, thought I might add the link here.

Hope you all can figure this one out. I must say that this one requires some fiddling depending upon the length of your caption, timing, etc. My settings are based upon my example and your settings may vary.
Also to remind you that I like to make these short and so assume the user has some working knowledge of Producer. This is why I don't go into a whole lot of detail. But hopefully I cover enough so you get the idea and are able to make it work.
If anyone finds that in my haste making this I left something crucial out , let me know.

Hi Debbie,
I used this technique Wednesday in a show I made for a friend. Debbie, your instructions never fail me. I used 3 separate captions using your technique on one slide and they all worked perfectly with very minor adjustments. Thank you so much for all you do to help make my presentations so much better. I wish I could return the favor.
Best wishes,
Douglas
