Deleting sections of video

New to the forum.

I work a lot with video. Is it possible to cut out a section in the middle of a clip and then pull the two remaining pieces together? This would be like doing a ripple delete in Adobe Premiere.

Well, kind of, sort of ... what you do is put a clip in twice and trim the back off the first part and the front off the second clip. If you are going to be working with video much, I would definitely suggest getting a decent video editor - there are a number of reasonably priced ones out there - Adobe, Sony Movie Studio and even some free ones depending on what format video you are working with and how complicated you want to get in what you are doing with that video.
