Thoughts:
1. Jennifer, your tutorial is focused on getting people started, and you did a super job of it. Keep up the good work and the service you perform.
2. After exploring how to deal with zoom following, I've decided it's not worth the trouble when it can be so easily done the old-fashioned way.
3. The true flaw is in Photodex's implementation of modifiers. They chose to create an esoteric user interface built for mathematicians and without good documentation in the manual.
And that, by gum, is what I think.

Jennifer,
Don't give up your tutorials. Those of us newbies really get great value out of them. Thank you.

Sounds logical to me. Just because 3 left turns make a right doesn't make it the best choice. Why bother when one can make a simple right turn to get where one is going? This is a case of "Making The Simple Difficult" . Users that choose to make the simple one-step right turn in this case will have more time to play with other stuff while others that choose to go left will be busy still making their left turns....
Jennifer, thanks for your tutorial.

Jennifer ,
I have enjoyed the benefits of your tutorial. With just a few changes I have
used it for a portrait picture where my wife is sitting in a swing. The swing also swings a little sideways so it looks very real.
Jennifer, thanks for your tutorial.

The modifier can be used depending on the scale of another layer
Need to know the coefficient of the layer.

Perhaps we'd do best moving the whole discussion about modifiers to a separate thread.
